On 13th June 2023 around 10 PM in a horrifying turn of events, Manipur’s Kangpokpi district was gripped by tragedy as 9 individuals tragically lost their lives in a recent firing incident in Aigijang village. The incident has sent shockwaves throughout the region, highlighting the urgent need for peace, security, and effective measures to prevent such devastating incidents. According to the statement, a total of 4,014 fire-related cases were recorded, resulting in 310 injuries. Additionally, a significant recovery of stolen arms took place, with approximately 144 weapons found at the scene. Among the recovered arms were 29 self-loading rifles, 10 grenade launchers, 12 INSAS rifles, and 11 magazines
