Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 2 Brings Back Nostalgic Locations, Classic Weapons, and Exclusive Cosmetics

Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 2 is now live, bringing back nostalgic locations, weapons, and items that defined the early days of the game. Released on January 31, this latest season offers players a chance to relive the excitement of Fortnite’s golden era with iconic points of interest, a fresh OG Pass, and a collection of classic loot. Running until March 25, 2025, this update is a must-play for both longtime fans and new players looking to experience Fortnite history.

Epic Games’ Senior Marketing Manager expressed excitement in a blog post, inviting PlayStation fans to “grab your Glider and hop off the Battle Bus” as they jump into the action-packed world of Chapter 1 Season 2. The nostalgia is strong with this release, as fan-favorite locations return, including Tilted Towers, Junk Junction, Shifty Shafts, Haunted Hills, and Snobby Shores. These legendary POIs hold a special place in Fortnite history, each offering unique landscapes, hidden surprises, and intense battles for loot.

Tilted Towers is once again the ultimate drop spot, known for its towering buildings and loot-packed interiors, making it the perfect place for high-ground advantage—if players can survive the chaos. Junk Junction returns as the scrapyard haven, with players scavenging among piles of wreckage while keeping an eye out for opponents hiding behind every corner. Haunted Hills brings a spooky twist, with eerie ruins and abandoned tombs that conceal both danger and treasure. Snobby Shores is more than just luxury homes; rumors swirl about a hidden underground bunker waiting to be discovered. Shifty Shafts provides a maze-like battleground of underground tunnels, rewarding players who can navigate the tight spaces wisely.

Bringing back the essence of Chapter 1, Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 2 reintroduces classic weapons and items that defined early gameplay. Players can once again wield the Boogie Bomb to force their enemies into an involuntary dance, unleash chaos with the Minigun’s rapid fire, or take a stealthy approach with the Suppressed Pistol. Healing options like the Cozy Campfire and Chug Jug return, offering much-needed recovery in the heat of battle. Other nostalgic items include the Impulse Grenade, which can send opponents flying, the Crossbow for silent eliminations, and the Multi-Surface Damage Trap, which allows strategic placements on floors, walls, and ceilings.

The excitement doesn’t stop at gameplay mechanics. The all-new OG Pass introduces 45 tiers of rewards inspired by Chapter 1 Season 2’s legendary cosmetics. Players can instantly unlock Sparkle Diva upon purchasing the pass, while progressing through the tiers grants access to outfits like the Cuddle Team Specialist and the fearsome Knight Conqueror. The OG Pass also features a range of Back Blings, Pickaxes, and Gliders to complete the throwback aesthetic. Many cosmetics come with unlockable alternate styles, allowing for customization. The OG Pass costs 1,000 V-Bucks but is also included with a Fortnite Crew subscription, giving players multiple ways to access the nostalgic content.

Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 2 delivers the perfect mix of nostalgia and modern battle royale excitement. Whether players are dropping into Tilted Towers for the first time or revisiting Haunted Hills after years away, this season offers a thrilling trip down memory lane. With classic locations, beloved weapons, and an OG Pass full of throwback cosmetics, Fortnite fans won’t want to miss this limited-time experience. The battle begins now—jump in before March 25, 2025, and relive the magic of Chapter 1.
