2025 Tata Altroz Facelift Spotted Testing, New Design and Features Revealed

2025 Tata Altroz Facelift Spied Testing, Key Details Revealed in Leaked Images

Tata Motors is preparing to introduce the facelifted version of its premium hatchback, the Altroz, in the Indian market. While the company has not yet disclosed an official launch date, recent spy images suggest that the updated model is in the advanced stages of testing. The leaked photos provide a glimpse of some of the key design updates and features that the refreshed Altroz will bring.

Spy Images Reveal Notable Design Changes

The test mule of the 2025 Tata Altroz was spotted under heavy camouflage, hinting at several cosmetic updates both inside and out. The overall design is expected to get a bolder and more modern appeal while retaining the hatchback’s sporty stance.

At the front, the updated Altroz may feature a revised grille with minor tweaks to enhance its premium look. The headlamp setup is expected to remain similar to the existing model, but the area below the fog lamps now sports a vertical crease, adding a fresh touch to the design.

The rear section is also likely to undergo some noticeable changes. The new Altroz could sport trending LED elements in the taillights, along with traditional indicators. The side profile, however, is expected to remain largely unchanged. Features such as body-colored door handles, roof rails, and well-proportioned cladding will continue to complement the car’s dynamic design.

Interior Upgrades Expected

Inside the cabin, the upcoming Altroz facelift is set to receive an improved infotainment system. The touchscreen unit is expected to be bigger than the one in the current model and will support modern connectivity features, including wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Although the spy images did not reveal much about the dashboard layout or seating arrangement, minor refinements in material quality and finish can be expected to enhance the premium feel of the cabin.

Engine and Powertrain Options

The existing Tata Altroz is available with multiple powertrain choices, and the facelifted version is likely to retain these options. The hatchback currently offers a 1.2-liter petrol engine delivering 88hp, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Additionally, Tata provides a factory-fitted CNG version, producing 73.5hp, catering to buyers looking for a more fuel-efficient alternative. The diesel variant, powered by a 1.5-liter engine, generates a maximum power of 90hp, making it one of the few premium hatchbacks in India to offer a diesel option.

With the facelifted Altroz undergoing testing, more details are expected to surface in the coming months as Tata Motors gears up for its official debut.
