Aam Aadmi Party criticized Bharatiya Janata Party stating that, BJP is making use of central probe agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (RD) and CBI (Central investigation Bureau) to break down MLAs in the opposition party from joining the ‘Eknath Shinde government’ in Maharashtra.
AAP’s national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh addressing a press conference on Tuesday shared a list of people who joined BJP after experiencing the heat from ED, CBI and IT departments. ‘Since 2014, the BJP has been using Modi washing powder and now they will compliment all the people who abused them’. Maharashtra people will teach a lesson” said Mr.Singh referring to the current revolt in Maharashtra.
At a press conference Singh charged that action against corruption is Modi’s guarantee said by the PM at a rally in Bhopal, but the Slogan changed within three days and now the Prime Minister is saying that his guarantee is to make every corrupt person as a minister’. Singh said that, a few days after speaking about the involvement of Ajit Pawar and NCP MLAs in the scam worth ₹70,000 crores by the Prime Minister, they were announced as the deputy chief minister and the ministers in the Eknath Shinde government. ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi should stop speaking about the fight against corruption, honesty and ethics’, Maharashtra is the ongoing example of how the BJP is using the probe agencies, says the spokesperson.
Mr.Singh said the NCP MLA Mushrif, was made the minister, after conducting a probe against him by the Enforcement Directorate and Chhagan Bhujbal, against whom the Sadan scam allegation was made, is announced as the minister.
Kirit Somaya, the BJP leader, who was pressing to arrest Mushrif with reference to the alleged scam worth 100 crore rupees, is now hiding, says the spokesperson of AAP. He referred to various other political leaders claiming that they had faced corruption allegations before joining the BJP. This included the opposition leader of West Bengal Shuvendu Adhikari and Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Sanjay Singh listed a few other politicians like Baijayant Jay Panda, Hasan Mushrif, Bhawna Gawli, CM Ramesh, Pratap Sarnaik, YS Chowdhary and Purushottam Sabariya.
“From north to south and east to west, all the sins can be washed out using Modi washing powder and that’s the reason it has become popular. Modi’s washing powder can wash all sins, it can be murder, rape, loot, corruption etc”, Singh said.
