Chat Gpt is now available for mobile users.

Initially, ChatGPT app was only accessible for iPhone users, but the latest update given by OpenAI says that the AI- powered chatbot is also available for Android users as well in India. The App works similar to the web version which gives conversational answers for the questions asked by the users on different kinds of topics. In addition, there’s an option of customisation where the users can change the tone and style of responses of their choice through particular suggestions. The mobile has a significant benefit where the users are enabled to use their earlier chats without any internet connection.

The steps to use the ChatGPT app on Android phone is discussed below:

  • Firstly the app can be installed using Google play store for the users with Android Version of 6 and above. Just search for the “ChatGPT” app which is developed by OpenAI and it can be downloaded. To avoid duplication it is better to install the verified application.
  • After the completion of the download, open the app and then sign in or instead of signing in, the app can be used by logging through the mail ID which is used in the web version.
  • Once the login is done, the app can be used by asking questions on any topic and get answers which are conversational.

Similarly let’s see how the app can be used in iPhone. The steps to use the ChatGPT app on iPhone is discussed below:

  • After the app is downloaded, open the app and login with the mail ID which was used in the web version or else sign in can be done.
  • Later the questions can be asked and suitable answers will be received.

ChatGPT has made work easier for many users with various benefits. Five major advantages of this app are :

It acts as a reliable source of getting information by “Asking Information”. Information can be asked on various topics like current affairs, historical facts, education etc. But the knowledge provided by ChatGPT is constrained to events prior to 2021, hence for more accuracy the information can be cross verified. Apart from information the user’s can chat with it for some jokes, dressing suggestions, planning trips and it gives fast replies.

Apart from English, Hindi language can also be used. Other languages are trying to be implemented in the future. Hence, “Language Assistance” is another major advantage. Though it responds in text form, voice inputs can also be processed. It acts as a good translator, language companion by understanding difficult terms and also helps in learning new phrases.

Based on the user’s preferences and conversations the app also gives “personalized recommendations.” Real-time updates are not available as it is limited to events prior to 2021, but provides recommendations on various things like books, food, traveling, movies etc.

One more benefit is that when the user’s are in need with some suggestions for assignments, captions for social media, or some content writing, the app provides “Writing Assistance”. It gives creative writing ideas and deals with the hitches faced by the user’s.

Moreover the app is not only developed to provide useful information but also gives companionship with normal conversation. Hence, it can be said that it is an “AI Friend” which shares and discusses various thoughts, latest updates and other discussions. There’s another cool option where the app can be instructed to imitate any particular character or a famous personality for about 10 minutes which gives an enjoyable and fun-filled conversation.

The above information and examples apply only to the free versioned ChatGPT App. Apart from that better performance can be accessed for those who subscribe to OpenAI with ChatGPT Plus subscription.
