Woman Government Employee in Bengaluru Stabbed at Home, Investigation in Progress.

On Sunday 5th November, a tragic incident took place in Bengaluru where a 37-year-old geologist employed by the Karnataka government lost her life in a deadly stabbing. The victim was identified as Pratima, holding the position of Deputy Director within the Mines and Geology Department of the state.

According to the police report, the attackers forcibly entered Pratima’s residence. Unfortunately, she was alone at home during this horrifying incident, as her husband was away visiting his hometown in Teerthahalli.

This disturbing event has left the community and authorities in shock, prompting a thorough investigation to discover the motives behind the cruel act and bring the culprits to justice.

Around 8 pm on Saturday, Pratima’s driver safely accompanied her back to her residence. Concerns rolled out when her brother’s repeated phone calls went unanswered, prompting him to visit her the following morning. To his shock and distress, he discovered her lifeless body, adding a tragic layer to the already miserable situation, as officials have reported.

In response to this distressing incident, law enforcement has taken immediate action by registering a case. The authorities are now actively engaged in extensive efforts to locate the individuals responsible for this horrifying crime. As the investigation opens, there is suspicion that the perpetrators might have had some degree of familiarity with the victim, further deepening the mystery surrounding this heart-breaking murder case.
