Lei, a Chinese Bharatanatyam dancer, recently performed her Arangetram to an enthusiastic audience, showcasing her dedication to the Indian classical dance form. Trained by Jin Shan Shan, a pioneering Chinese Bharatanatyam dancer, Lei has developed a deep passion for the art, viewing it as a representation of Indian culture.

Her performance, accompanied by musicians from Chennai, received widespread acclaim. Lei’s commitment to Bharatanatyam reflects her love for Indian culture and dance. In contrast, a social media user pointed out that while some Indian kids are increasingly Westernized, Chinese youth like Lei are embracing and celebrating traditional Indian values.
