Shared by the popular Instagram account “IIT Meme Cell,” the video, titled “Guy Trying to Enter Late in Class at IIT Kanpur,” captures a student’s attempt to sneak into a lecture hall through a side door. Despite his efforts to be discreet, his entrance quickly attracts the attention of his classmates, who burst into laughter. The professor, noticing the commotion, looks over with a smile and asks, “Did something happen that I missed?” and adds, “Did someone enter the classroom?”
As the situation reaches its peak, the student makes a hasty exit, prompting even more laughter from the room. The video has garnered over 641,140 likes.
One viewer, Sai Aditya, who was present during the class, commented, “We were supposed to be in by 4:05 PM. The instructor often jokes about monitoring the doors, and this time was no exception. He has a clear view of the entire lecture hall, so no one really escapes his notice.”
