Saif Ali Khan Recovering After Stabbing Attack at Home, Mumbai Police Investigate Domestic Help’s Involvement

Saif Ali Khan, the renowned Bollywood actor, is recovering at Lilavati Hospital after sustaining multiple stab wounds during a shocking incident at his Bandra residence. The unsettling event unfolded around 2:30 am on Thursday when an unidentified intruder entered Saif’s home. The actor was alerted by a commotion between the intruder and his domestic help. In an attempt to intervene and diffuse the situation, Saif confronted the attacker, only to be assaulted himself. The intruder inflicted injuries on Saif before escaping from the property. It has been reported that the assailant was briefly locked in one of the rooms but managed to flee.

Authorities suspect that the domestic help might have been acquainted with the attacker and could have facilitated his entry into the house. A Mumbai Police source revealed that the domestic worker is currently being interrogated for more information about the suspect. Seven dedicated police teams are actively working to track down the assailant and ensure justice is served.

At the time of the incident, Saif’s wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their two young sons, Taimur and Jeh, were also present in the house. Fortunately, the family remained unharmed. Saif was promptly taken to Lilavati Hospital at around 3:30 am by his elder son, Ibrahim Ali Khan.

By Thursday afternoon, reassuring news emerged from Saif’s team, stating that the actor had undergone surgery and was out of danger. Doctors have placed him under observation in the ICU to monitor his recovery closely. Lilavati Hospital’s COO, Niraj Uttamani, confirmed that Saif would remain in the ICU for a day to ensure his condition stabilizes.
