Patna Becomes the Epicenter of Pushpa 2 Buzz
The trailer launch of the much-awaited Telugu blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rule turned into a historic event in Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, with thousands of fans gathering to witness the grand spectacle. The unprecedented crowd left the film’s team, including star Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and director Sukumar, overwhelmed. This marked a first-of-its-kind move for a South Indian film, underlining the pan-Indian appeal of the Pushpa franchise.
A Celebration Beyond Boundaries
Released in 2021, Pushpa: The Rise shattered linguistic and cultural barriers to become a pan-Indian phenomenon. Its Hindi-dubbed version enjoyed unparalleled success, carving a niche in the North Indian market. Building on this momentum, Mythri Movie Makers strategically chose Patna to launch the trailer of the sequel, amplifying its appeal to Hindi-speaking audiences.
Crowd Madness in Patna
The event saw euphoric energy, with fans cheering, whistling, and applauding the cast and crew. Producer Naveen Yerneni expressed his astonishment at the turnout, saying, “We didn’t even see a crowd like this in Andhra. We are stunned.” Distributor Anil Thadani, known for backing pan-Indian hits like Baahubali, RRR, and KGF, shared his belief that Pushpa 2 could propel Allu Arjun into the exclusive ₹1000-crore club.
Allu Arjun’s Emotional Connect
The highlight of the event was Allu Arjun’s heartfelt speech in Hindi, where he paraphrased his iconic dialogue:
“Pushpa jhukega nahi, lekin aapke pyaar ke saamne zarur jhukega (Pushpa never bows down, but he will bow to your love).”
This marked the actor’s first visit to Bihar, making the reception even more special.
Rashmika Steals the Show
Rashmika Mandanna charmed the audience with her interactive spirit, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming love. She urged fans to bring friends and families to theaters for the grand release, scheduled on December 5.
A Star-Studded Cast and Team
Pushpa: The Rule boasts a stellar cast, including Fahadh Faasil, Rao Ramesh, and Sunil, alongside Allu Arjun and Rashmika. Directed by Sukumar and featuring music by Devi Sri Prasad, the film’s background score is rumored to be a collaboration between Thaman, Ajaneesh Loknath, and Sam CS.
With this massive pre-release event, Pushpa 2 is set to redefine box-office records and establish itself as a cultural milestone in Indian cinema.
