Bangalore: Internet Buzz, Unbelievable Offer – A Bed Space Room So Cozy & Feels Like an Ant, Costs Only Rs 12,000.

The internet is buzzing with a series of unexpected occurrences in Bengaluru, often named as the ‘peak Bengaluru moments,’ where the landlords are presenting irregular conditions to potential tenants looking for rental accommodations. The most recent case that has been causing a fuss on the internet involves a listing of rooms on No Broker. In this case, the property owner is requesting a monthly rent of ₹12,000 for a remarkably compact living space that can accommodate just a single cot.

A Reddit user named by @saiyaa recently shared their dissatisfaction about the platform. They posted an image of a room that could barely accommodate a single bed (Image credit: Nobroker). Their caption briefly expressed their frustration, exclaiming, “A room for bed is a bedroom. Bangalore, what’s going on? Why on earth? Asking 12k for this, and there’s someone who would actually pay.” This post has triggered mixed reactions among Reddit users. Some found it funny, with one user playfully suggesting, “This looks more like a toilet transformed into a bedroom.” While a segment of users expressed shock and others raised doubts about the authenticity of the listing.

Another user made a comparison that, “Hostels offer better accommodations, often priced around 5-7k, and come with few additional amenities.” Meanwhile, a third Reddit user added a touch of humor by saying, “A luxurious room including a kitchen with a state of the art air vent to express your feelings and unwind  after a long work day.”

Few users expressed alternative viewpoints. One of them mentioned, “This seems more like a badly designed apartment rather than the issue the OP is highlighting.”

Another user said, “If the apartment is fully furnished as shown and the rent and deposit match the listing, then this would be a reasonable deal, especially considering that Mahadevpura is one of the expensive neighborhoods in the city.”

A user named neighbour_guy3k said, ” Even a prison cell is bigger than that”, username Joey-tv-show-season2 wrote that, ‘Like that in Canada for new Indian immigrants’. User Benevolent001 advised to report to the local council, as “No broker applications are violating all building laws here”.

However, it’s worth noting that in the No Broker app listing, the flat includes a cooking area equipped with a gas stove, along with compact cupboards and a bathroom.
