The Central Board of Secondary Education had recently cancelled 10th examination and had postponed 12th examination which was to be held between 4th May, 2021 to 14th June, 2021 due to the pandemic situation and the rise in covid cases each day. The immediate decision was taken by the Government and the Board for the safety and well-being of the students. The exams are not cancelled as class 12th results are the basics for their future studies. So they are determined to conduct the 12th examination but only after the situation becomes better.
On Wednesday (19th May, 2021) Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal made an announcement regarding the CBSE 12th exams that they have been postponed and will not be cancelled in the future days too but the new revised dates for the exam will be announced soon.
Another clarification was also given that the exams will not be held before June 15th, 2021. The pandemic situation after June 1st, 2021 will be examined and later the dates will be announced. Dates will be announced 15 days prior to the examination so that the students will be well prepared for the exams.
