HYDERABAD: On Friday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at the residence of Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, as well as at the offices of his company, Raghava Constructions and Infra, located in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
According to agency sources, 16 teams of ED officials are involved in the raids, targeting the minister’s residence and the homes and offices of the Managing Director and Directors of Raghava Constructions in the Jubilee Hills area. Additionally, searches are being conducted at the minister’s residence in Khammam district headquarters.
It was noted that these raids are being led by ED’s Delhi zonal office, with no involvement from the Hyderabad zonal officials. The raids have sparked discussions among Congress members, particularly regarding Raghava Constructions’ recent involvement in the Narayanapet-Kodangal lift irrigation project. Sources suggest the raids are linked to earlier issues from before the Assembly Elections.
