New syllabus for CBSE, JEE, NEET exams.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on 19th January 2021 held a live session with the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya in order to interact with them regarding CBSE, JEE, NEET exams, syllabus and school reopening . He mentioned that the NEET and JEE 2021 exams will be conducted based on the complete syllabus but incase of CBSE board exams 2021 for students in grade 10th and 12th , the exam will be conducted based on 30% reduced syllabus due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

In the Webinar Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal also added that “the students will only have to study the revised syllabus for their CBSE board exams and other state board exams. The questions will only be asked from that portion” India Today news reported.

When there was a question about reopening of schools then Pokhriyal said that the schools shall officially reopen very soon but the date is yet to be announced and then he mentioned that online classes would also be continued alongside. 

Announcement related to JEE Main 2021 was made that this year it will be conducted four times once each month from the month of February to May. Hence this is a good chance for the students to score good marks than they previously did as they have enough time to prepare well. In the month of February the exams will be scheduled between 23rd February 2021 and 26th February2021 and the interested students can still apply as the registrations are open till 23rd January 2021.

The exam dates of NEET 2021 is yet to be announced and the students are worried as the delay in the exam may cause delay in the admission process as well.

In case of CBSE Board exam 2021 it will be held from 4th May 2021 to 10th June 2021 and the results shall be announced by 15th of July 2021.
