Salman Khan Announces Da-Bangg Tour in Dubai Despite Death Threats

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, undeterred by recent death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has announced his much-anticipated Da-Bangg tour date in Dubai. The actor, popularly known as Bhaijaan, took to social media to share details of the event, which will take place on December 7, 2024.

In the post, Salman shared the official tour poster, which features prominent celebrities set to join him on stage, including Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Tamannaah Bhatia, Prabhu Deva, Maniesh Paul, Sunil Grover, and Aastha Gill. The actor’s caption read, “Dubai get ready for Da-Bangg The Tour – Reloaded on 7th December 2024,” adding that tickets are now available through Platinumlist.

Threats and Security Concerns

Salman Khan’s tour announcement comes amid heightened security measures due to recent threats against him. The actor has been facing security challenges following attacks allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, including an assassination attempt on his close associate Baba Siddique earlier this year and gunfire targeting his residence. Law enforcement has since bolstered his security, aiming to protect the actor amid mounting threats.

Protests by the Bishnoi Community

In a separate issue, the Bishnoi community staged a protest in Rajasthan, burning effigies of Salman Khan and his father, Salim Khan. This backlash was triggered by a statement from Salim, in which he claimed that Salman Khan had no involvement in the blackbuck poaching case, asserting that his son has “never even killed a cockroach.” Bishnoi community leaders expressed outrage, accusing Salim of misleading the public.

In a public statement, representatives of the Bishnoi community emphasized, “We are Bishnois, we do not defame anyone just like that… Salim Khan cannot mislead people by giving false statements. The entire community was hurt by his comments. We will make all-out efforts to ensure justice in the blackbuck case.”

Resilience in the Face of Threats

Salman Khan’s decision to proceed with the Dubai Da-Bangg tour reflects his determination to continue with his public engagements despite the security risks. His fans eagerly await the event, and the star’s resilience has only further cemented his standing with his followers worldwide.
