Telangana Government to resume offline classes for students in 9th to 12th standards and for students in Private and Government Colleges from February 1st 2021.
Telangana Government has decided to resume offline classes for students in 9th to 12th standards and for students in Private and Government Colleges from 1st of February 2021. On Monday the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had given permission for schools and colleges to conduct offline classes after a meeting with ministers and district collectors at Pragathi Bhavan. Even the government advisors, secretaries of the departments and heads of the departments were a part of the meeting held.
According to the reports an official announcement was made during the meeting “Resume Classes from 9th standard upwards in all private and government educational institutions from February1. Classes should be held for the students of 10th, Intermediate, Degree, and Other professional Courses”. He also mentioned that arrangements for the Covid vaccination should be made immediately.
It’s been a very long time of more than 9 months, the educational institutions remained closed since the month of march due to Covid-19 lockdown. The Chief Minister therefore asked the collectors to ensure to take necessary steps to keep all the educational institutions clean and get them ready by 25th of January 2021 for the reopening. He has also told them to keep an eye on the food supplied to the institutions in order to ensure that it’s not rotten.The ministers were instructed to visit SC, ST, BC welfare hostels to check if they are good enough for the students to stay.
On the other hand the Chief Minister has ordered all the district collectors to address all the issues related to the revenue department as soon as possible and make changes required, as earlier the revenue records were not maintained properly which often led to clashes and litigation. The officials were also instructed to make modifications in the “Dharani Portal” within a week. He has told the officials to stay alert about the recent spread of bird flu which has not hit the state but is being spread in various states of India.
