Bollywood lost its best comedian- Mr. India calendar (Satish Kaushik) is no more. 

The veteran bollywood actor and filmmaker, Satish Kaushik breathed his last at the age of 66 years on 8th March, 2023. His close friend Anupam Kher tweeted about Kaushik’s death. His demise was condoled by his family, friends and other bollywood celebrities. He suffered a heart attack while traveling in Delhi on Wednesday. His last rituals were performed on Thursday in Mumbai. 

Satish is well known for his acting, direction and comedy. He captured a special place in people’s hearts through his role in Mr. India (1987) as “Calendar”. 

Humour and laughter is the best medicine ever and Kaushik is one such legend who made us laugh to our fullest over the years. The sudden death of such an amazing artist has shocked the film industry including his fans. 

Satish kaushik’s journey towards the film industry started when he was 22 years old. He came all the way from Delhi to Mumbai with lots of dreams and just Rs. 800/- in his pocket. He was very passionate about acting and studied at National School of Drama and the Film and Television of India. 

Kaushik’s debut movie as an actor was Masoom released in 1983 and as a director he came out with his debut movie Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja in 1993. His last movie was Chatriwala released this year. He had also secured two filmfare awards for his excellent comedy. His demise is a huge loss to the film industry. His iconic roles will remain fresh forever in the memories of his fans.
