Karnataka assembly election 2023: 10th May Live Updates: The latest results reflect the exit poll in reality in Karnataka. Based on the exit poll prediction, the Congress party can win approx. 125–130 seats in Karnataka.
The total number of seats in the Karnataka Assembly is 224, and 113 are required to show a majority. The latest counting results show leads for the Congress Party towards 130 to 135 seats. As of 2:10 PM, the Congress Party had won 12 seats and was leading on 136 seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 6, however leading on 64, Janata Dal Secular (JDS) won 1 and leading on 20 seats, respectively.
DK Shivakumar leads with 73% of the votes from Kanakpura, Mr. Siddaramiah leads with 60%, and Mr. Bommai, the current CM of Karnataka, leads with 15000 votes.
The current chief minister of Karnataka, Mr. Basavaraj Bommai, said the BJP has not been able to make the mark, while the Congress party did.
