“Hyderabad to Boost IT Sector with Two New IT Parks and Rs 100 Crore Investment”
Hyderabad is set to strengthen its position as a major IT hub with the addition of two new IT parks. IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu announced the development plans on Tuesday after a meeting with representatives from US-based Dew Software, which has proposed an investment of Rs 100 crore. This investment is expected to generate around 900 job opportunities for IT professionals over the next five years.
Hyderabad has witnessed rapid growth in the IT sector, attracting top global companies and significant investments. To sustain this momentum, the state government has decided to expand IT infrastructure with two additional IT parks in the suburban areas of the city. These new parks will be modeled after Hitech City, offering state-of-the-art facilities to businesses and professionals.
A major challenge in developing industrial projects has been the lack of a dedicated land allocation policy. Addressing this issue, the minister announced that a structured policy would soon be introduced to streamline land distribution based on investment size and job creation potential. This move is expected to eliminate hurdles faced by entrepreneurs and investors looking to set up operations in Hyderabad.
A detailed assessment is currently underway to identify the best locations for the upcoming IT parks. Authorities are evaluating various suburban areas to ensure seamless connectivity and easy accessibility for both employees and investors. The new IT parks will be strategically developed to integrate with the city’s existing infrastructure while providing a modern work environment.
The government has also promised world-class facilities, including efficient transport systems, to ensure hassle-free commuting for IT professionals from different parts of the city. With a focus on attracting top-tier investments and providing an ideal workspace for tech companies, Hyderabad continues to evolve as one of the fastest-growing IT destinations in the country.
