Union Minister Nitin Gadkari recently underwent a comprehensive medical examination at the Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai, where he was declared to be in good health. The 66-year-old minister underwent a series of tests, including cardiac and stress tests, conducted by top medical professionals. Following a thorough evaluation of the reports, doctors confirmed that Gadkari’s heart and overall health condition were satisfactory.
The need for the medical checkup arose due to Gadkari’s rigorous campaign schedule for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, which left him experiencing symptoms of extreme heat and dehydration. His health concerns were highlighted when he fainted during an election rally in Pusad town on April 24. However, after receiving prompt medical attention and medication, he quickly recovered and resumed his duties.
Despite these challenges, Gadkari remains the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate for the Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency, where he is seeking a third consecutive victory. The polling for the constituency took place in the first phase of the elections on April 19.
