Coldplay’s electrifying concert in Mumbai at the DY Patil Stadium became the talk of the town as thousands of fans gathered to witness the iconic band perform their greatest hits. Among the captivated crowd was renowned singer Shreya Ghoshal, who attended the event with her husband, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya, and her 70-year-old father, Bishwajit Ghoshal. The celebrated artist shared snippets of the magical night on Instagram, giving her fans a glimpse of her experience. Shreya was seen soaking in the euphoric atmosphere as the band played some of their most beloved tracks, including “A Sky Full of Stars,” “Fix You,” and “Paradise.” One particularly emotional moment came during the performance of “Fix You,” when Shreya admitted she couldn’t hold back her tears, overwhelmed by the band’s soulful rendition.

Adding to the star-studded charm of the evening, composer Salim Merchant was also spotted at the event. Shreya and Shiladitya captured precious moments together, and the photos radiated their joy and excitement. The singer’s lighthearted humor shone through in a video where she jokingly remarked on the effort it takes to attend a concert, quipping, “It’s better to just be on the stage.” Her playful banter continued as her husband pointed out an incline they were climbing, prompting laughter and agreement.

For the concert, Shreya embraced a chic yet casual look, donning a blue and white top paired with black trousers. She shared her heartfelt appreciation for the band in her post, expressing her gratitude and admiration. She revealed it was her second time experiencing Coldplay live and thanked the band for creating a magical evening that allowed her and her loved ones to relive treasured memories. Her father, too, thoroughly enjoyed the performance, making the night even more special for the family.

The Mumbai concert was part of Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour, with three spectacular shows at DY Patil Stadium on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025. Fans in Ahmedabad are also eagerly awaiting the band’s performances at the Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26, marking their grand return to India after their last appearance at the 2016 Global Citizen Festival.
