BJP CMs to Keep Planning Election Tactics; PM Modi to Share Thoughts on ‘Mann ki Baat’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 112th episode of his monthly radio show, ‘Mann ki Baat’, on Sunday morning. This marks his second episode since starting his third term as PM.

On Saturday, PM Modi emphasized the need to eliminate poverty starting at the village level during the ninth Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog. The meeting saw some drama as West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee walked out, claiming her microphone was turned off. Modi stressed the importance of targeting zero poverty at the grassroots level, suggesting that such efforts could transform the country.

Most Opposition leaders skipped the NITI Aayog meeting, protesting what they called unfair treatment in the Union Budget. They accused the Modi government of ignoring states not ruled by the BJP or its allies. Despite this, the meeting proceeded with only a few states participating.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu clarified that the collapsed building at Delhi Airport was not the one inaugurated by PM Modi but an older structure. Compensation was announced for the victims of the collapse.

Mamata Banerjee walked out of the NITI Aayog meeting, claiming she was unfairly stopped during her speech. The Centre refuted her claim, saying her time was up. Later, PM Modi met with BJP CMs and Deputy CMs to discuss effective implementation of welfare schemes and other governance issues.

The BJP CMs’ conclave will continue on Sunday, focusing on strategies to improve their election performance. The party leaders are analyzing the recent Lok Sabha election results and planning for future polls.

Additionally, the Ajit Pawar-led NCP will start a ‘Jan Samman Yatra’ in Maharashtra to connect with people, address their issues, and strengthen the party’s organization. The yatra will tour various districts to promote government schemes and rally support ahead of the state Assembly polls.
