The Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr.Arvind Kejriwal said that he watched the interview of former Governor SatyaPal Malik on Monday where he made a statement that “Kejriwal will be the next person to get arrested”. ‘Why are you threatening, just Arrest me’, said Kejriwal pointing out the Delhi liquor scam during the press conference.
CM Kejriwal said that the BJP is backbiting them everyday only because the entire country knows that AAP is the “Honest party” in the nation. He also said that this proves that BJP is controlling the Enforcement Directorate and the CBI. Did the CBI tell this to them or did they tell the CBI about whom to arrest next?, Kejriwal questioned.
Asaduddin Owaisi, replying to Malik’s statement, said that “he should have been thrown out from the Governor’s post, he enjoyed the Governor’s seat and now after 4 and half years he is complaining about the AAP”.
The Home Minister Amit Shah also said the same thing about Malik in an interview. He also said that the journalists should question him on why he remembers all these issues only after the separation.
Satyapal Malik was considered to be an opportunist who was complaining about the past issues after the relationship broke up.
Kejriwal restated that- “There isn’t any liquor scam, The accusation is all about the bribe amount of ₹100 crores which was given by some South Lobby”. The CBI also said the same and also admitted that there is evidence only for ₹30 crores out of ₹100 crores on which allegation was made. They said that someone named Rajesh Joshi carried ₹30 crore from South Lobby and gave the same to the AAP leaders.
The court order said that ‘There isn’t any evidence regarding the money that was brought by Rajesh Joshi’, hence, Rajesh got bail because he didn’t bring money and he didn’t give it to AAP leaders. Kejriwal expressed his anger regarding the bail given by the court in front of the media.
Kejriwal said that, BJP made the allegation that AAP spent around ₹100 crores in the Goa election and they arrested all other workers who worked with us in Goa. The Enforcement Directorate said that ₹19-20 lakhs were spent by AAP in cash and rest other expenses were paid in cheque. Kejriwal says that, “This is the certificate that shows how honest the AAP is”. Sanjay Singh’s name was also added without imagining about the action that can be taken by Sanjay and later ED said that it happened by mistake.
“The scam on liquor was entirely a false allegation. Initially, we were saying it and now the court is also saying the same. It is a miserable course of action by BJP to harm the honest party like Aam Aadmi Party”- Kejriwal tweeted.
