Northern Railway introduces festival Special Trains : Vande Bharat and other new trains.

In addressing the surge of travel demand during the festive season, Northern Railway has announced special trains. Vande Bharat Express is one among them which operates between New Delhi and Patna on certain dates (11th, 14th and 16th November from Delhi to Patna; 12th, 15th, and 17th November from Patna to Delhi). The train halts at Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, and Arrah Junction.

In addition, the Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Okha Special train functions every Tuesday from 31st October to 28th November from Okha to Delhi Sarai Rohilla and from 1st November to 29th November in the reverse direction, stopping at various stations on every Wednesday.

The Bandra Terminus-Jammu Tawi AC Superfast Special train departs every Sunday from 12th to 26th November from Bandra Terminus to Jammu Tawi and every Tuesday from 14th to 28th November in the reverse direction, making stops in Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, and others.

Furthermore, the Mumbai Central-Kathgodam Special train runs every Wednesday from 8th to 29th November from Mumbai Central to Kathgodam and every Thursday from 9th to 30th November in the opposite direction, with stops at various stations.

These efforts are developed to enhance convenience for passengers to travel during Diwali and Chhath festivals, directing to solve the problem of festive demand and seasonal rush.
