BJP Seeks Arvind Kejriwal’s Resignation to stop Free Water, Electricity & other benefits for people of Delhi- Sanjay Singh

Sanjay Singh, a Rajya Sabha MP representing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), unleashed a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hours after his release from Tihar jail. Singh, who was granted bail by the Supreme Court in connection to the alleged excise policy scam, accused the BJP of targeting AAP leadership, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, for their commitment to providing essential services to the people of Delhi.

Addressing a gathering at the AAP office packed with supporters and volunteers, Singh asserted that the BJP’s motives behind seeking Kejriwal’s resignation were to halt crucial initiatives such as free water, electricity, and Mohalla clinics in the capital. He condemned what he described as attempts by the ruling party to stifle the AAP’s efforts in providing quality education, healthcare, and welfare measures to the residents of Delhi.

Singh emphasized the unity within the AAP ranks, referring to the party as a family committed to its principles. He expressed solidarity with Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, and other AAP leaders who had faced incarceration, attributing their ordeal to their dedication to public service.

Upon his release, Singh met with Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Arvind Kejriwal, and noted the distress reflected in her eyes. He pledged to extend support to the families of Sisodia and Jain, highlighting the emotional toll of the political strife.

In a defiant tone, Singh cautioned against succumbing to authoritarian tactics, urging the public to remain vigilant against “dictators” who threaten democratic values. He reaffirmed Kejriwal’s commitment to addressing the needs of the people, promising to continue delivering on the party’s promises despite opposition pressure.

Singh accused the BJP of targeting other AAP leaders for their unwavering stance against the ruling party’s agenda. He denounced what he termed as the BJP’s culture of promoting corruption, citing instances of leaders facing legal scrutiny for alleged misconduct.

Asserting Kejriwal’s resolve to serve the people of Delhi, Singh dismissed calls for his resignation as attempts to dismantle the AAP’s welfare-oriented governance. He rallied support for the AAP’s cause, vowing to channel the people’s response to Kejriwal’s “imprisonment” into electoral victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

As tensions between the AAP and BJP escalate, Singh’s fiery rhetoric signals a continuation of the political standoff, with both parties vying for supremacy in the national capital’s political landscape.
